Day 3

Last night the quiche came out good. Probably not like Paula Deans but I liked it I did the nutritional data and I have attached it along with some pictures. I don't know why it took me so long to make this it was super easy. I tried to follow Paula Deans recipe but she added cream and butter I didn't. Here is the recipe and the pictures are above

Hashbrown Quiche

1 pkg of hashbrowns
4 eggs
1 can evaporated milk
20 oz 2% milk
12 oz grated cheese
anything you have in the frig you wanna get rid of I used zucchini, green peppers, green onions, leftover spiral ham and mushrooms and a lot of each.

So the first thing I did was to turn the oven on to 450 I oiled the bottom of the skillet with olive oil and a little butter and let the skillet get hot then i added the hashbrowns in the skillet and made sure it went to the top of the skillet as in the picture. Then I cooked it until the hashbrowns turned brown.

In the meantime I was cutting the rest of the ingredients in bite sized pieces and mixed the rest of the ingredients together. Once the hashbrowns browned I poured the mixture into the skillet and cooked it for about 45 minutes.

Story:
So as I was cooking I was reading a magazine I purchased from the store while waiting in line you know the ones that tell you that you can lose 25lbs of belly fat in one week and the chocolate cake is right next to it. Okay so which one do they think I'm really going to do buy fish oil and drink it with lime juice or make that cake, UUHHMMMMMMM I think the cake wins!!!!!! So I tore out the pages with the cake and realized I really don't need anything in this book.
Lesson:
This is where changing your habits come into play. So I decided that from now on when I go to the store I will have a book in my purse which I already do have and read that while in line. Where the candy and cookies and snack sized chips and Pepsis' are.
